Named after the Japanese word for "bluefin tuna"—one of the absolute fastest fish in the ocean—the Maguro Twin by SharpEye Surfboards is a high-speed small-wave weapon. Built following the innovative "Modern 2" design concept, this model is masterfully engineered as a hybrid mix between a classic San Diego fish and a highly responsive modern twin fin. It strips away the sluggish, overly directional feel of vintage designs, replacing it with a lightning-fast, high-vibe alternative experience that excels when the ocean lacks natural power.

The Maguro bridges the gap between retro soul-carving and progressive, modern rip-ability. SharpEye has completely overhauled and modernized the traditional 1970s rocker and foil combination, removing the thick, clunky characteristics of old-school logs. This structural refinement allows you to draw elegant, classic high-speed lines down the point or aggressively attack the lip on punchy beach breaks, making it the ultimate tool to turn subpar conditions into a high-performance playground.

This model is exceptionally versatile, designed to be ridden either as a classic twin keel for maximum down-the-line glide, or configured as a quad for added hold and vertical control. To unlock its full speed and performance potential, the Maguro should be ridden roughly 3 to 4 inches shorter than your actual height.
